The future vision of the Sushrut-Adler Group envisages global expansion with a strong marketing and surgeon education focus in the orthopaedic space.

It is an established fact that less than 15% of the global population is concentrated in the relatively more economically affluent Western world. The Sushrut Adler Group believes that innovation and practices in the field of orthopaedic devices in this part of the world have evolved based on a high cost model whose sustainability in the long run could well come under close scrutiny. It is widely recognized today that the high costs of healthcare are a matter of emerging concern even in the western world.

Having said that, 85% of the world’s population is concentrated in the less affluent developing world. The Group believes that high cost solutions originating  in the western world have limitations in their ability to achieve penetration and deliver benefits in this “developing” world. The challenge is to achieve requisite standards of safety and innovation in a more cost effective manner.
